  1. We can see that the demise of fertility and deprivation of reproduction has immensely altered traditional metaphysical laws. This critical state in which the characters are placed under subsequently provides them with vast amounts of existential quandaries. There is a particular scene in which the films protagonist (Owen) enters what seems to be a large generic storage facility, retaining the last important works of art; acting as a sort of incubator to fortify the scarce remains of meaning. Ironically, this investment is in itself is futile, because they too have lost all meaning.
